Our take
Lovy's Gili Air earns a 9.5 score from 99 reviews with a short list done well: air-conditioned rooms with private bathrooms, terraces looking onto the garden, a tea and coffee maker and a minibar in each room, and room service. Gili Air Beach is a four-minute walk away. No pool appears in the listing, so plan on the sea for swimming. I see it as a quiet, comfortable base for exploring the island on foot or by bike.
