Our take
I would choose Villa Puri Ayu for its range of practical extras: free bikes, a fitness centre, a garden, a restaurant with varied cuisine and airport transfers. Sanur Beach is 400 metres away, which suits families who want to walk or cycle to the sand. With 8.0 over more than 1,000 reviews the score is solid rather than dazzling. Expect a relaxed, family-oriented base, not a central nightlife address.
